Update at 3:22am Kyiv Time: Nine hundred residents of Luhansk region evacuated to western Ukraine on March 25.

Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai stated that evacuations take place daily, despite constant Russian shelling.

Update at 11:51pm Kyiv Time: Ukraine demands that International Red Cross Committee obtain from Russia lists of deported Mariupol residents.

Ukraine demands that all its citizens deported to Russia from Mariupol are provided with the opportunity to return, says Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Update at 11:42pm Kyiv Time: UN has data proving existence of mass graves in besieged Mariupol.

The United Nations has received “satellite information” on one such grave, holding about 200 people, said Matilda Bogner, head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, as cited by CNN.

7,331 people evacuated from hot spots on March 25.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, 2,800 people evacuated from besieged Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia by own cars, 4,000 Mariupol residents evacuated from Berdiansk by buses, 531 from Melitopol to Zaporizhzhia.

Update at 11:11pm Kyiv Time: Macron: France joins forces with Turkey, Greece to evacuate civilians from Mariupol.

Macron told Le Figaro that he is in talks with Ukraine and is planning to negotiate with Russia about the joint humanitarian mission. Over 100,000 residents remain in besieged Mariupol.

Update at 10:42pm Kyiv Time: The New Times says. Russian ground forces

near Kyiv have stopped trying to take the capital and have shifted to defensive positions as airstrikes continue there, a senior U.S. defense official said Friday, adding that Russia shifted much of its efforts to the Donbas region.

Update 9:12pm Kyiv Time: Russia hits Vinnytsia with 6 cruise missiles, some shot down by air defense.

According to the defense ministry, Russians targeted the territory of the Air Force Command in Vinnytsia, a city in west-central Ukraine. The rockets hit several buildings causing significant damage.

Update at 9:09pm Kyiv Time: Russian forces around Kyiv have fallen into defensive positions and have stopped offensive ground movements toward the capital city, a senior U.S. defense official says.

Update at 8:06pm Kyiv Time: The Ukrainian Air Force said on Telegram that a missile strike by Russia had hit a command center in Vinnytsia, in central Ukraine, and caused "significant damage to infrastructure"

Update at 8:01pm Kyiv Time: Russian forces no longer have full control of Kherson, the first major Ukrainian city that President Vladimir Putin’s forces managed to capture as part of his invasion, a senior Pentagon official said on Friday.

BREAKING: Ukraine - Several loud explosions were heard in western Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia on the afternoon of March 25. 

The city has been on alert for air raids for most of the day. People are recommended to stay in bomb shelters.
