State Border Guard Service informs on the situation at the western border

During the day of March, 30 the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova were crossed by almost 62 thousand people and almost 15 thousand vehicles. For the last several days, insignificant increase was noted in the flow of passengers on the western region of the border.

The previous day, over 38 thousand people left Ukraine. Over 24 thousand of them chose the the Ukrainian and Polish region for crossing the border. Reminding, for crossing the

border, the less loaded checkpoints on borders with Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and the Republic of Moldova can be chosen.

Over 23 thousand people came to Ukraine the previous day, over 19 thousand of them are Ukrainians. In general, approximately 516 thousand of our countrymen crossed the border to enter Ukraine since the beginning of open armed aggression.

RECOMMENDING to follow loading of checkpoints for border crossing to the EU and Moldova (in Bukovyna) on Facebook page of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine – the Western Border. The data are renewed every three hours.

REMINDING, all checkpoints on the western border (except for “Dzvinkove” checkpoint) work round the clock. Apart from registering people and vehicles, tover 470 vehicles with humanitarian goods were registered on the western borders the previous day.

ASKING all the citizens to keep rules of law at the border, prioritization and moral standards while crossing the border, and not to offer bribes to border guards for exceptional or illegal border crossing!
