Today, March 28, 2022, the Minister of Education and Science Serhii Shkarlet met with the Minister of National Education, Youth and Sport of France Jean-Michel Blanquer. The conversation revolved around the preparations for the meeting of the European Council which will be held on April 5, 2022.
The counterparts also discussed the education of children from Ukraine who were
forced to evacuate due to russia's brutal aggression against our country."Currently, there are 4,500 schoolchildren in France, who have all the conditions to continue their studies in Ukraine via distance mood and are provided with the necessary gadgets. Once again, I would like to thank the people of France for their unquestionable support and assistance to Ukrainian citizens in this difficult time, "said Serhii Shkarlet.
It will be recalled that the Steering Committee for Education of the Council of Europe supported Ukraine.
