Operation of the power system of Ukraine as on April 16, 2022

Over the past 24 hours, electricity supply to about 82,000 consumers has been restored.

In particular, in Kyiv region - 62,100

consumers, Kharkiv - 6,000 Donetsk - 4,800 Luhansk - 4,000, Kherson - 2,600 Mykolaiv - 1,500 Zaporizhia - 700 consumers, Chernihiv - 200 consumers.

Gas supply was restored to 6,700 consumers.

Ukrainian energy companies are making every effort to quickly restore

energy supply to Ukrainian citizens.

However, in some areas, emergency recovery work is difficult or impossible due to the intensification of hostilities and the emergence of new damage.

As of April 16, about 848 settlements in Ukraine remain without electricity, in total about 654,00” consumers. In particular, in Donetsk region - more than 274,000 consumers, Kharkiv - 99,000 Kiev - 94,000 Luhansk - 92,500 consumers.

More than 272,000 consumers remain without gas supply. The most difficult situation with gas supply is observed in Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions.
