BREAKING: Huge Fire In Ukraine's Kherson

Update at 11:23pm: 10 people injured as a result of missile attack on Kyiv. 


Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that a Russian missile strike injured 10 people and partly destroyed the first two floors of a 25-story building.


Update at 10:59pm: Explosions heard in Kherson.


Update at 10:47pm: 3 Russian missiles intercepted over Odesa Oblast. 

Governor Maksym Marchenko said that the air defense systems intercepted the missiles and “have the sky under their control.” Two series of explosions were reportedly heard in Odesa on the evening of April 28.


Update at 10:42pm: Aleksey Arestovich about the attack on Kyiv:

“An escalation has begun according to the worst option, we have the UN Secretary General in Kyiv, and they launch 3 missiles into the center of Kyiv, two flew in, one was shot down,”

Update at 9:41pm: In the Kyiv region, there was a hit on infrastructure facilities, now rescuers are working there, - Victoria Ruban, spokeswoman for the State Emergency Service of the region, said in a comment to “Hromadske”.

Update at 9:06pm: The Russians shelled the Chernihiv region for the second time today - said the press secretary of the Chernihiv border detachment Halyna Shekhovtsova in a comment to Suspilne.


Explosions of about a dozen mortar mines were recorded near one of the settlements of the Semenovska UTC. The mines were fired from the direction of the Russian village of Lomakovka.


Vodolaha clarified that as a result of the missile attack on Kyiv, there are victims, but it is not yet known how many.
