After all, apart from our country, we feed 400 million people worldwide. Global food security depends on us to the great extent. Thanks to the firm position and negotiations of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, the painstaking work of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, simplified access of Ukrainian goods and products to the European market has become possible. In the last month, persistent and important for Ukraine negotiations with the EU on the abolition of quotas on Ukrainian agricultural products have intensified. Today we have received a positive response from the European Commission. We hope that its proposal will be agreed by the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union," commented Mykola Solskyy, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the decision.
