During the day on April 14, more than 77,000 people and more than 17,000 vehicles crossed Ukraine's western borders with the EU and Moldova.
Passenger traffic on the western part of the border is stable.
More than 34,000 people have arrived in Ukraine, more than 30,000 of whom are
Ukrainians during the past 24hrs. Passenger traffic on arrival in Ukraine is gradually increasing.More than 420 vehicles with humanitarian goods have been registered.
We recommend to monitor workload of checkpoints for crossing the border to the EU and Moldova (in Chernivtsi region) on the Facebook page of the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine-Western Border. The data is updated every three hours.
We draw the attention you that the capacity of the state border crossing is controlled by authorized officials of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on valid passports or other documents provided for by law and international treaties. At the same time, in exceptional cases, border guards can make individual decisions as for persons traveling abroad for humanitarian purposes in search of protection from Russian aggression. The more documents issued by the state authorities of Ukraine, such a person will be able to present during passport control, the easier it is possible to make a decision on a person’s crossing. Also, border guards can take into account whether there were military actions and whether Administrative Service Centres and other state institutions operate in the region from which a person is traveling.
It should be noted that in cases determined by law, in order to cross the state border, citizens, in addition to passport documents, must also have other supporting documents.
