Government has allocated UAH 200 million in compensation to employers for employed internally displaced persons

The Government has directed a UAH 200 million resource as compensation to employers for employed internally displaced persons.

The program provides a monthly reimbursement of salary costs in the amount of

UAH 6,500 for each employee for 2 months. Such state support is aimed at reducing unemployment and increasing the economic activity of Ukrainian business.

"Our task now is to stimulate the business of hiring displaced persons. On the one hand, this will allow us to restore the work of enterprises, on the other - will help people earn and feed their families. Maximum employment during the war and in the post-war reconstruction period is a priority goal of the Government and the Ministry of Economy," said First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

To participate in the program and receive compensation, an enterprise must enter into an employment contract with an internally displaced person. Data on the employed person can be submitted through the Diia portal or by submitting an application to the State Employment Service.
