Denys Monastyrskyy: There are no military facilities in Borodyanka - only houses and kindergartens

There are no military facilities in Borodyanka, only houses and kindergartens. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyy in Borodyanka, during a press tour organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for journalists of leading Ukrainian and foreign media.

"Today we are at the site of one of the greatest tragedies in Ukraine - the town of

Borodyanka. This is one of the most destroyed towns in the Kyiv region. Locals tell how in the first days of the war planes fired rockets at houses," said the Interior Minister.

He also stressed that rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine [SESU] need a week to dismantle only one destroyed high-rise building. There is a lot of such destruction in the town and people can be found under debris of every building.

"A month ago, rescuers began dismantling the demolished houses, but the enemy began firing on SESU officers and their equipment. It was possible to save people who were under the rubble, but through the constant shelling rescuers could not do it. Until this day, there was no access to the site, and now we understand that there are probably no people left alive under the rubble. This is another deliberate crime against humanity committed by the Russian military," the Interior Minister summed up.
