The state makes every effort to ensure the stable and efficient operation of strategic enterprises in wartime. It is important that every company works to support Ukraine's economy. This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko after a trip to Dnipropetrovsk region.
She noted that the new conditions set serious tasks and pose challenges for
business - functioning in a state of hostilities, significantly complicated and more expensive logistics, radically different mechanics of entrepreneurship. However, business owners need to rethink their function, as Ukraine's approaching victory depends on a stable economy."Today, business is not about marginality and profits, today business is about responsibility for the country, supporting the economy and the army, saving jobs and the opportunity not to lose the customers," said Yulia Svyrydenko.
The Government and the Ministry of Economy have launched a number of important decisions for the stable functioning of enterprises. Deregulation, reduction of inspection and fiscal burden on enterprises, interest-free state lending for all spheres of business have been introduced.
"We are ready to promptly respond to the pain and challenges of wartime and give them a decent rebuff in the form of economic incentives," added Yulia Svyrydenko.
During the visit, the Minister of Economy also met with the management of large metallurgical companies - including ArcelorMittal and Metinvest. She noted that metallurgical enterprises are strategically important for Ukraine, so the state will do its best to ensure their stable and efficient operation.
"Now is the time to get back to work and rebuild the economy. Every enterprise that continues to operate is critical for Ukraine, and those who have stopped their activity should resume it," Yulia Svyrydenko stressed.
