Ukraine and Poland are deepening cooperation to ensure the safety of Ukrainian children from vulnerable categories

Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for European Integration Olha Revuk during a business trip to the Republic of Poland took part in a meeting with the First Lady of the Republic of Poland Agata Duda.

The meeting was attended by Piotr Ćwik, Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President

of the Republic of Poland, and Barbara Socha, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy of the Republic of Poland.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the urgent needs to ensure the safety and evacuation of orphans, children deprived of parental care and children in round-the-clock care facilities from areas of active hostilities in Ukraine. The parties agreed on the procedure for cooperation on the admission by Poland of Ukrainian children from vulnerable categories, registration and control over their movement in the Republic of Poland.

The First Lady of Poland Agata Duda expressed readiness to act as a mediator in the involvement of the First Ladies of the European Union countries-members to jointly assist Ukraine in the placement of children, control over their movement on territories of partner countries and further return after stabilization of the situation in Ukraine.
