State Border Guard Service: Information concerning passenger traffic at the border of Ukraine

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports on the state of queues at the western border.

As of 12:00 on March 3, passenger traffic on the border between Ukraine and the European Union and Moldova continues to decline. The level of congestion at checkpoints has also decreased significantly.

Comparing the state of queues for the last 12 hours (from 00:00 on March 3), we note

that the number of cars waiting to cross the border has decreased from about 1,700 to 250 cars. Queues of pedestrians - within 25-100 people.

Currently, relatively small queues of cars are recorded at the following checkpoints:

• on the border with Poland: "Yagodun" (20 pedestrians/ cars);

• on the border with Slovakia: Uzhhorod (40 pedestrians / cars);

• on the border with Hungary: Luzhanka (40 pedestrians / cars), Vylok (20 pedestrians / cars);

• on the border with Romania: "Porubne" (40 pedestrians / cars).

There are no queues at the rest of the checkpoints.

IMPORTANT: at present, in addition to the registration of persons, border guards together with customs officers are actively registering humanitarian provision.

It should be noted that all checkpoints on the western border are open 24 hours a day.

PLEASE NOTE: make sure that the minimum list of documents that will allow you to establish your identity and the identity of the accompanying children, as well as documents that can prove your family ties with minors who follow unaccompanied by at least one parent, and with other relatives.
