More than 100,000 victims of hostilities got assistance at the expense of funds transferred to humanitarian account opened by the NBU for the Ministry of Social Policy

The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna said that 104,485 people had already received the necessary assistance at the expense of funds received on the humanitarian account opened by the NBU for the Ministry of Social Policy. For the aforesaid purposes, there have been spent UAH 40.1 million.

"Due to the fact that we do not just finance the applications of recipients, but organize

cooperation when part of the cost of assistance recipients bear or provide a certain stage of providing the necessary assistance, we manage to provide more people with available resources.

The average expenditure of funds from the humanitarian account to help one person on funded applications is UAH 384. This is, on average, for various types of assistance: evacuation of civilians from places of active hostilities, accommodation, organization of nutrition and psychological assistance to internally displaced persons, provision of medicines and food to people in places where hostilities are taking place.

Thanks to the combination of resources and opportunities, we demonstrate a high efficiency of use of funds," commented Maryna Lazebna.

To date, there have received funds from the humanitarian account to help people 22 recipients, among which are public and charitable organizations, sanatoriums, territorial centers of social services (provision of social services).
