Unprecedented work is being done to record mass war crimes committed by the russian occupiers. This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denys Monastyrskyy on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon UARazom.
"In fact, wherever the russian military has come, we record the same picture: there is
no town where there are no victims; there is no village not affected by destruction. This reveals the general approach of the russian army to the conduct of hostilities, the attitude towards the civilian population and the commission of looting," the Minister noted.The Minister of Internal Affairs also announced the opening of a round-the-clock hotline of the National Police of Ukraine for relatives of those killed in the hostilities waged by the Russian federation. By phone 0 894 201 867, the operators are ready to provide the necessary advice and to clarify on the procedure of burial of the dead.
"We are measuring as hundreds of missing people, so we extremely need such help. Today, citizens can help the investigation to identify those who, unfortunately, died or were forcibly deported from Ukraine to the republic of belarus," the Minister explained.
In addition, Denys Monastyrskyy called on citizens who wish to take part in the elimination of the consequences of emergencies caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine to join the voluntary formations of civil defense. The volunteer questionnaire can be filled out on the official website of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine [SESU].
"We need such a front, because the sooner we can dismantle the debris, the more we will learn about the crimes committed in these regions," the Minister added.
Regarding the demining of settlements in Kyiv region, the Minister noted that the situation remains difficult. Every working day, rescuers find between 4,000 and 5,000 explosive devices in the region around the capital.
Focusing on international approaches, Denys Monastyrskyy noted that one day of active hostilities is equal to a month of demining.
