Oleksii Chernyshov: About 6,800 residential houses were either destroyed or damaged in Ukraine as a result of the war

In Ukraine, about 6,800 residential buildings were either destroyed or damaged as a result of the russian war in Ukraine, the Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov announced on April 2 on air of the UARazom telethon.

"Today, we need tens of billions of dollars for the first period to rebuild the basic infrastructure and the basic things we must embark on immediately after the war. The development part

and reconstruction of cities and agglomerations will involve amounts that we have to measure in the hundreds of billions," the Minister added.

He also reminded that in the Diia application everyone can apply for housing damaged as a result of the war.

How to submit an application in the Diia app:

- Update the application to the latest version

- Enter the Diia and tap → Services → Damaged property notification

- Fill in the form, providing all the necessary information.

After the end of hostilities, the reconstruction and construction of housing will begin.
