Combat pay of UAH 100,000 will be paid to male and female defenders who receive treatment from the wounds - Ministry of Defense

April 1, the Government decided to amend the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of February 28, 2022, №168 "Issues of certain payments to the military, soldiers and officers, police officers and their families during martial law."

Therefore, the relevant adopted amendments will allow, in particular, to include in the orders for the payment of additional remuneration, increased to UAH 100,000, persons who:

- in connection with injuries related to the defense of the Homeland, are in inpatient

treatment in health care facilities, including time to move from one hospital to another, or are on leave for treatment after a serious injury at the conclusion of the military medical commission;

- persons captured or taken hostage, as well as interned in neutral states or missing;

- persons who were killed or died as a result of injuries or wounds - for the entire month in which the person died.

In addition, the document will regulate the distribution of one-time cash benefits in case of death and determining the full range of persons entitled to one-time cash benefits.
