Last races played: mixed parallel to Alpine Skiing teams and the Bobsleigh to 4

ALPINE SKIING: The mixed parallel slalom team with Federica Brignone, Luca de Aliprandini, Marta Bassino and Alex Vinatzer reached the quarterfinals but were defeated by the United States team 3-1. The last test of alpine skiing, postponed yesterday due to the strong wind, did not give much hope to the blue formation that in the eighth round had beaten Russia 3-1. In the next round, however, Paula Moltzan, Tommy Ford, River Radamus, have successfully completed their test for the stars-striped team. The only satisfaction was taken away by Marta Bassino who got the better of Mikaela Shiffrin.

 

BOBSLEIGH: The last race of the Azzurri in this edition of the Winter Olympic Games was the 4-a-side bobsleigh session. In the National Siding Centre, in Yanqing, Patrick Baumgartner with the brakemen Eric Fantazzini, Alex Vergner, Lorenzo Bilotti, was first 17th (2:58.42), in the third heat, then in 15th place in the last descent totaling 3.57.70 to +3.40 by the German Francesco Friedrich who won the race (3:54.30). More distant was the crew led by Mattia Variola, with Robert Mircea, Alex Pagnini, José Delmas Oboij, who stopped in the third Heat on 27th place (3:00.65).
