Ministers of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Great Britain had a telephone conversation

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrskyy had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Internal Affairs of the United Kingdom Rt Hon Priti Patel, who said that the United Kingdom Government had announced additional sanctions against Russia for aggression against Ukraine.

According to Priti Pettel, the Russian airline

Aeroflot will be banned from flying to Britain, and "strict export controls" will be introduced on equipment sold to Russia. In addition, London will freeze the assets of all major Russian banks.

It is planned to pass a law banning all Russian companies from attracting financing in the UK markets, Impose sanctions on individuals and legal entities and their subsidiaries, which include Rostech, Russia's major defense company.

The whole set of sanctions will be extended to Belarus. Rt Hon Priti Pettel condemned Russia's aggression and expressed her support for Ukraine.

In turn, Denys Monastyrskyy informed his counterpart about the current situation against the backdrop of Russian aggression. The Minister also asked to provide Ukraine with defense weapons.

"We critically need help today, especially from the UK. This is a contribution not only to the security of Ukraine, but also to the whole of Europe," the Interior Minister said.
