Minister of Social Policy Maryna Lazebna said that 75,000 packages have already been sent to people under the Million Food Package program

People from vulnerable categories in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions received packages of long-term storage products.

"We are grateful to the Ivan Tchaikovsky Pokrova Charitable Foundation and personally to the MP Ivan Tchaikovsky, as well as, definitely, manufacturers, businesses and people who joined in providing food packages to vulnerable categories of people living in the zone of active

hostilities. Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy work in coordination with the Ivan Tchaikovsky Pokrova Foundation, which provides food packages free to meet the most critical food needs. Today, 7 more railway cars with more than 20,000 packages went to Donetsk region," Maryna Lazebna said.

About 800 tons of various products have been collected so far under the Million Food Packages program. These are various cereals, pasta, canned meat and vegetables, oil, sugar, flour, cookies, jam.

The biggest obstacle to the delivery of food is the lack of humanitarian corridors to the places where the most active hostilities are taking place.

People from the most vulnerable categories receive products. First of all, deliveries take place in the areas most affected by the war. Regional social services ensure the collection of needs and delivery of products to recipients.
