German Galushchenko: We are at risk of the largest man-made disaster in the history of mankind

Minister of Energy German Galushchenko said that the country is at risk of the largest man-made catastrophe in the history of mankind.

The aggressor continues to inflict crushing strikes on Ukraine’s infratstructure. It isn’t stopped by many thousands of human sacrifices and tragedies. The enemy wants

to destroy the whole world today. From tanks, Grads and other heavy artillery, the power units of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, being the largest in Europe, were attacked with perfect understanding of the catastrophic effects of such actions. The fight is already on the platform of the station, the fire is spreading.

This is a war aimed at demolishing, destroying humankind and our planet. The nuclear and radiation safety does not bother the enemy. Human life of Ukrainians, Europeans and their citizens are indifferent.

For a few days we are trying to convey this thesis to the IAEA. We required interference with this international organization and stringent decisions on the aggressor. But they are not yet.

So, we require not only a professional assessment of events that occur, but also real interference, the use of the toughest measures, including NATO and the nuclear-weapon states.
