During martial law, Ukraine will monitor the prices of a number of basic necessities for people. These include flour, pasta, bread, meat, milk and more. This list also includes certain groups of medicines and motor fuel. The relevant decision was made the previous day by the Government.
"Pricing for the aforesaid products will be controlled by military administrations together with the National Police, the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer
Protection, the State Service on Medicines and Drugs Control. Thus, there will be no unfair competition and price hikes. Now is the time to unite and take care of each other," Oleksii Chernyshov stressed.It was reported earlier the Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Chernyshov said that the Government had adopted a resolution banning the accrual and collection of fines/penalties for late or incomplete payment for housing and communal services.
