RUSSIA: Adelia Petrosyan wins Beijing Qualifier

 Adelia Petrosyan won the qualifying tournament for the Milan 2026 Olympic Games, which is being held in Beijing, scoring 209.63 points in two programs.

In second place is Anastasia Gubanova, representing Georgia - 206.23 points. In third place is Luna Hendricks from Belgium - 204.96 points.

At the tournament in Beijing, Adelia Petrosyan was in the lead after the short program and won in the free program, receiving 140.91 points for the skate.

The student of Eteri Tutberidze, Sergey Dudakov and Daniil Gleikhengauz cleanly performed a free program, with all jumping elements: cascade - triple lutz + double toe loop, triple rittberger, double axel, triple salchow, combination - triple lutz + double axel + double toe loop, cascade - triple flip + triple toe loop and solo triple flip. Except for the level 3 step track, all non-jumping elements were evaluated by the fourth level.

At the qualifying tournament in Beijing, Adelia Petrosyan performed in a neutral status. To get to the Olympic Games in Milan 2026, she had to enter the top five at the end of the competition.

RUSSIA: Petr Gumennik won the short program at the tournament in Beijing

Petr Gummenik won the short program at the qualifying tournament before the Milan 2026 Olympics, which takes place in Beijing, scoring 93.80 points for the skate.

Donovan Carrillo from Mexico is in second place - 84.97, in third place is Frenchman Francois Pitot - 81.24 points.

RUSSIA: Adelia Petrosyan leads after the short program at the tournament in Beijing

 Adelia Petrosyan leads after the short program at the qualifying tournament for the Milan 2026 Olympic Games, which is taking place in Beijing. For her program on the composition of Michael Jackson, the athlete scored 68.72 points.

Anastasia Gubanova, representing Georgia, is second - 68.08, Luna Hendricks from Belgium - third, with a score of 66.92 points.

This was the first performance of our figure skater in the international arena after the break. Adelia coped with the jumping content - double axel, triple lutz, cascade - triple flip + triple toe loop in the second half of the program. Almost all non-jumping elements were marked with maximum levels of difficulty.

In Beijing, Adelia Petrosyan performs in a neutral status. To qualify for the Olympics, you need to get into the top five at the end of the competition.
