
Russian figure skating pair Maria Fefelova and Artem Valov made their debut at the first stage of the ISU Junior Grand Prix series in Xi'an, China. The pair, led by Alexei Gorshkov and Ekaterina Ryazanova, skated their rhythm dance, scoring 63.10 points.
After the two groups' performances, Maria and Artem are in the lead. The remaining participants are ahead.
Russian juniors have returned to international competition after a four-year hiatus. The athletes compete under neutral status, designated AIN2.
For Maria Fefelova and Artem Valov, performing in China is the first international tournament in their career.
