Global impact from local involvement
During the event, the EBC team in Mongolia, led by Chief Operating Officer (COO) B. Tamir and EBC's Business Development team, met with over 160 students from the Department of Economics and Business at OUUI, provided insight into careers in the financial services industry, and provided professional guidance through events such as financial lectures, forums, and virtual trading competitions.
As a result of the active participation of students and the high level of interest expressed in the registration forms, the event was continued with a formal Cooperation Agreement, which was approved by Dr. Kang Yoo-yeol, a member of the Board of Directors of OUUIS.
The following opportunities will be created within the framework of cooperation:
· Each year, up to 10 interns will be selected from the EBC Mongolia office to be given the opportunity to intern in other international branches of EBC, providing them with the opportunity to gain international career experience.
· Joint programs connecting the industry and the learning environment, such as monthly financial lectures, virtual trading competitions, and employment counseling, will be implemented throughout the year.
· Implement a preferential job selection channel for OUUI graduates, professional mentors, and collaboration on research projects that reflect Mongolia's economic priorities.
As a result of these meetings and activities, more than 160 students from the Department of Economics and Business filled out forms expressing their interest in working at EBC in the future.
