Final to the bronze of the Russian Championship in Saransk. This is an important step in the figure skaters' careers, since these are the first medals for the students of Alexander Svinin and Irina Zhuk at competitions of this level.
After the performance, the guys admitted that it was important for them to finish the season on such a good note. They also wished health to coach Alexander Svinin, who did not come to Kaluga because he had an operation.

Maria Fefelova – Artem Valov became silver medalists of the Grand Prix final. For the debutants of the junior season, students of Alexey Gorshkov and Ekaterina Ryazanova, this is the first big success in their sports career. At the stages of the series, the guys were also second twice, starting their "silver age" this season.
Darya Drozhzhina – Ivan Telnov won bronze. The students of Ekaterina Rubleva, Ivan Shefer and Sergey Plishkin earned more than 100 points for the free program, breaking their personal records in the rhythm dance, free program and the sum of the two programs.
Varvara Slutskaya – Gleb Goncharov took 4th place – 161.62 points.
Liliya Litenko – Ignat Pakhomov finished fifth – 156.73 points. The dance couple of Maria Borovikova and Denis Samokhin in Kaluga beat three “sizn best” at once.
Anna Bilibina and Dmitry Kashaev rounded out the top six with 152.76. The athletes from Anzhelika Krylova's group scored the "sizn best" in the rhythm dance and performed a worthy performance of the free program.
Taisiya Sheptalina – Dmitry Pekin – seventh – 151.11 points.
Kamilla Sharafutdinova - Rodion Murasalimov came in eighth - 151.07. After the rhythm dance, Kamilla felt unwell, and the guys even thought about withdrawing from the competition. But the next day the temperature dropped, and the athletes, together with coaches Yulia Zlobina and Alexey Sitnikov, decided to continue. It is clear that in such a situation they could not show their best in the final.
