SERBIA: Jovanović Confers with UK Foreign Office Official for Central and South East Europe

Serbia - The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović met today with Matthew Findlay, Head of the Central and South East Europe Department at the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

The meeting focused on prospects for further advancing

bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom, as well as opportunities to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current regional issues, Serbia’s role in promoting stability and fostering cooperation in the Western Balkans, Serbia’s European integration process, and current global political developments.

Both sides noted the high level of cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom and reaffirmed their mutual readiness to continue political dialogue and further strengthen bilateral relations.
