SmartCoby Ultra Slim SS5K pairs a semi-solid

battery cell with a stainless steel shell, making it one of the thinnest 5,000mAh wireless power banks in its category. It is built with NovaCore C3, a battery health and cycle tracking system that reports wear over time rather than leaving it to guesswork, with a rated cycle life of approximately 300 charge cycles. The power bank offers wireless charging up to 15W for EPP compatible Android phones and 7.5W for iPhone 12 through the newest models, plus a USB-C port delivering up to 20W wired, though not at the same time.

At 6.83mm, SmartCoby Ultra Slim SS5K is thinner than nearly every iPhone on the market, including the iPhone 17 Air, so it slides into a jacket pocket, bag pocket, or laptop sleeve without adding noticeable bulk, a fit suited to daily commuting or a work bag that already carries a laptop and charger. Ultra Slim 3K recently became available on Amazon in the US for $73.99, alongside CIO's Shopify store, and remains part of CIO's current SmartCoby lineup.

The Makuake campaign drew 281 backer comments and 41 progress updates over five weeks, crossing milestones of 10 million yen raised and 1,000 backers along the way. Early pledges started at 6,980 yen, a 22 percent discount off the 8,980 yen retail price, and included a battery recycling tier that gave backers a discount for returning an old power bank. The Kickstarter campaign added another 64 comments and 7 updates across its own 39 day run.

Backers can pledge starting at $45.74 for SmartCoby Ultra Slim SS5K, with an estimated ship date of December 2026. The campaign runs through October 28th on Kickstarter. Final specifications, weight, and pricing remain preliminary and subject to change ahead of fulfillment.
