Yunost team won the Russian Synchronized Skating Championship for the 20th time

In Yoshkar-Ola, the Championship of Russia in synchronized skating was held. In a stubborn struggle, the gold of the competition in the CMC category was won by the Yunost team (212.89), the silver medal by Sunrise-1 (212.44), and the bronze medals were taken by the Crystal Ice Junior team (202.78).

A tense atmosphere reigned in the ice palace of Yoshkar-Ola on the days of the competition. According to the results of the short program with a score of 75.45 points, the leading position was occupied by the Sunrise-1 team from St. Petersburg. The athletes performed in

the image of dolls from a forgotten box and performed all the elements of the program at a high technical level. The team "Youth" from Yekaterinburg, inspired by the recent victory in Finland, gently and easily performed the short program "February", but still lost to rivals from St. Petersburg 18 hundredths. The team confidently moved from element to element and, having scored 202.78 on the sum of the two programs, took third place.

Sunrise 1 were ready to play the most important chess game of the season. The skaters perfectly performed the program on the theme of the series "The Queen's Move", not allowing the audience to be distracted from their rental. The team scored 212.44 points in total, but it was not enough to win.

The winners of the championship of Russia for the 20th time were the team "Yunost" from Yekaterinburg. The girls performed the Spanish capriccio at ease, which was highly appreciated by the judging team. The result of the team for two programs was 212.89 points.
