Three days of meetings on Lake Bolsena to rediscover the power of critical thinking, between science, philosophy and innovative projects.
ROME, ROME, ITALY, July 6, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- Thinking. Do we really know how to do it? This is the provocation that the 2025 edition of “InCastro – The Festival of Thinking” starts from, which will be held from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 July in Grotte di Castro (VT), between the town square and the suggestive beach on
Lake Bolsena. Three days of conferences, dialogues and workshops open to all, in a context that blends landscape, science, philosophy and civic activation.
The festival, conceived and directed by Prof. Francesco Orzi, former professor of neurology at La Sapienza University of Rome and now city councilor with responsibility for culture, proposes itself as an inclusive space dedicated to free thought, critical reflection and the valorization of knowledge, to counter the growing forms of misinformation, manipulation and credulity.
The focus of the 2025 edition is: “ Thinking: what does it mean, and why is it more urgent today than ever? ”
How many choices – personal, social, political – could improve if only we used our thoughts better? The festival addresses issues related to the awareness of cognitive biases, the critical reading of data, and education in reasoning as an antidote to fake news, racism, abuse, and intolerance.
