SEGA® is letting it rip and bringing Virtua Fighter R.E.V.O. to the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This next evolutionary step in the iconic 3D combat franchise supports crossplay and rollback across all platforms,
bringing players around the world together through the most connective Virtua Fighter™ ever.Information on upgrade options for players who own the PlayStation 4 version of Virtua Fighter 5 will be released soon, so stay tuned.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O offers the ultimate fighting game experience for players who want to become the best fighter in the world. The game balance has been adjusted for the first time in 13 years, and with rollback netcode support, you can now engage in smoother and more heated online battles with other challengers who can play the game anywhere in the world on different platforms.
In the meantime, you can get your fighting kick at the VIRTUA FIGHTER Open Championship, which begins with the first preliminary round on May 23 at Combo Breaker 2025. There will be further preliminary rounds in Europe, Japan and Asia (excluding Japan). Players who win their regional preliminary rounds will get the chance to participate in the grand final tournament, where the winner will receive the grand prize of $100,000.
