BREAKING: Gaza - The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) says Hamas operatives attacked a bus carrying more than two-dozen local Palestinians working for GHF, killing five of them, injuring multiple others and potentially taking some of them hostage.
The bus was en route to a distribution
center in the area west of Khan Younis, GHF said. “These were aid workers. Humanitarians. Fathers, brothers, sons, and friends, who were risking their lives everyday to help others. Our hearts are broken and our thoughts and prayers are with every victim, every family, and every person still unaccounted for.”GHF said it holds Hamas fully responsible for the incident. “This attack did not happen in a vacuum. For days, Hamas has openly threatened our team, our aid workers, and the civilians who receive aid from us. These threats were met with silence.”
Earlier, the deputy of Yasser Abu Shabab’s “Popular forces” denied any of its members were killed, saying Hamas killed aid workers.
