Israel: Squartulak - Israel's leading company for the worlds of voice center - launches seamless integration with the "Don't Call Me" database Government

The new feature that enables compliance with Israeli consumer protection law

We have partnered with the government database to provide our customers with automated interfacing that will not only help them meet the updated requirements of the law, but will also lead to improved dialing efficiency."
— Eli Rubin, CEO of Squartulk

Jerusalem, Israel, January 2, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- As part of updating the Consumer Protection Law and adding the "Don't Call Me" database, Squartulk, a company that provides cloud telephony solutions, has developed a solution for

its customers to help them meet the new requirements and help call centers protect themselves from complaints, lawsuits and fines.

According to Amendment 61 to the Consumer Protection Law, as of January 1, 2023, consumers who do not want companies to contact them by phone and offer them marketing offers can register for the "Do Not Call Me" database. With the establishment of the database, which is operated by the Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Authority at the Ministry of Economy, every company or business operating in Israel is obligated to contact potential customers by phone to first check whether the number to which they are dialing appears in the database.

Contacting a customer who is registered in the database is an offense that can lead to fairly heavy fines: up to NIS 45,000 per violation, and a fine three times higher in case of violation of an administrative termination order issued following previous cases.

Squartulk's comprehensive solution enables real-time interfacing with the government database using an API and is expressed on several levels:

- Check the upload of a list of leads - check the status of leads from a campaign, from the status of "does not exist in the database" to the status of "exist in the database Do not call me"
- Nightly check of all existing leads in the system against the government
database - Another option for manual checking
- real-time check in a
manual call that was not performed by an automatic dialer

Eli Rubin, CEO of Squartulk: "This integration is the best way for our clients to avoid lawsuits related to the Do Not Call Me database. We work to provide our customers with tools and strategies that support regulatory compliance. That's why we've partnered with the government database to provide our customers with automated interfacing that will not only help them meet the updated requirements of the law, but will also lead to improved dialing efficiency."

It is important to emphasize that the tools developed by the company are designed to help and provide service to system users. Squartulak Israel does not take responsibility for law enforcement in any way. The full responsibility for maintaining the law rests exclusively with users of the system.
