From the blockchain to the Metaverse – The new frontiers of digitization" dedicated to the role that blockchain, Metaverse and NFT technology can and are destined to play in the process of technological innovation and digitization of our country.

Born on the initiative of Senator Alessandra Gallone and Senator Antonio de Poli, with

the moderation of the journalist Maria Antonietta Spadorcia, the event was an opportunity to discuss the potential and risks of these cutting-edge technologies and to weave an increasingly intense and effective dialogue with the institutions.

In the opening speech, Vittorio Colao, Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition, underlined the scope of the ongoing digitization process and the enormous potential of the new tools that thanks to it are now available to all sectors, from the industrial to the educational to health: "Cutting-edge technologies, blockchain & DLT, that can become the foundation of a new model of interaction between citizens and between citizens and the state for a renewed and at the same time unprecedented relationship of trust. This must be the goal and focus of each of our programs, with the awareness, always, of the risks and possible drifts caused by a non-punctual regulation."

Engaging and very clear the speeches held as experts in the blockchain field by Valeria Portale and Francesco Bruschi, Directors of the Blockchain & DLT Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano, Vincenzo Rana, researcher and professor of the Observatory, and Andrea Ciliberti, who follows as CEO some of the most innovative Italian companies in the blockchain field.

The room was packed with professionals, entrepreneurs and many young people, interested in deepening opportunities, threats and possible applications of this technology and compact in accepting and accepting Valeria Portale's invitation to work to spread knowledge and awareness on these technologies: "Blockchain is a train that Italy cannot and must not miss.
