Are there still companies that do not have a website and do they have plans to change this in the future?
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM, May 30, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- 2022 May - Sortlist surveyed 1000 companies spread over 5 countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and France) about their plans for digitization. Are there still companies that do not have a website and do they have plans to change this in the future? What was the biggest incentive for companies to invest in a website?
This is what our study showed:
- 20% of Belgian companies do not have a website, this is an improvement compared to our survey in 2020 when 42% indicated that they do not have a website.
33.8% of companies plan to develop an app, but only 12% use one instead of a website. Belgium has the highest percentage for companies that already have an app (19%) compared to the other countries in our study.
- 'Lack of budget' no longer appears to be the main reason for companies not to develop a website. For Belgium, a lack of technical knowledge appears to be the main reason for not developing a website (30%).
- Internal staff emerges as the most widely used resource (29.02%) for small business web design, closely followed by specialized agencies.
- In Belgium, more than 60% of companies believe that the creation of a website has not led to more investments in marketing.
- A quarter of our respondents see the creation of 'quality content' as a top priority when it comes to their website. For Belgian companies, the priority is still to make websites more mobile-friendly (41%).
- The highest budget for the development of a website is between 1,000 and 5,000 euros in all markets, which corresponds to the 2020 study. You can read the full report here:
