Pepe de la Cajiga: Dubai an example of tourism development for Latin America.

Dubai has a process and ways of doing marketing to attract tourists that we can implement in Mexico. Even in Oaxaca"

MéXICO, OAXACA, Mexico, May 18, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dubai is an example of economic and tourism development around the world. From not painting on the tourist map, Dubai has become the top destination of the entire Middle East and its development gives us many pieces to analyze.

Undoubtedly one of the great qualities of this city is that it always tries to seek to be the leader in any aspect.

Here are some examples.

The tallest building in the world

Framed in the financial center of the city, the 823 m of the Burj Khalifa dominate the whole panorama. It could be seen from any point 95 kilometers around, if not for that sandy mist that reigns in the area. At the foot of the building it is difficult to contemplate it

in its entirety, the human neck has those limitations. To be able to enjoy it inside there are several options: you can buy one of the homes available on several floors, something unusual in a building of those characteristics, or you can visit one of its two viewpoints. The highest of them is on the 148th floor and the entrance costs 350 dirhams (about 84 euros at the change).

The world's largest shopping mall
With 1,200 stores and shops, the Dubai Mall is a shopping paradise. Next to the Burj Khalifa, it is also the most visited entertainment area in the world with 65 million visitors in 2012 (9 million more than the tourists that New York received that same year). Everything is excessive: an aquarium with 10 million liters of capacity and 33,000 marine species, a Venetian-style canal, ice rink, medical center... Everything you need to not leave there in hours.

The world's largest man-made island The Palm Island megaproject initially featured three complexes along Dubai's palm-shaped coast. Currently only one of these constructions is completed, the Palm Jumeirah. It is conceived as a large residential and leisure area. To see the shape of a date palm, the ideal is to take a helicopter or parachute jump experience. If you look safer with your feet on the ground, you can choose to go to the end of the tree trunk and visit the lobby of the Atlantis Hotel, a luxurious resort with aquarium, big brand stores and an impressive water park.

The hotel with the most stars in the world
Although it is a self-imposition, the Burj al Arab boasts 7 stars. Its sail shape over the coast and its special services make it a whim for the traveler. It has 9 restaurants, of which the one located at 200 meters high and the one under the sea stand out. It also highlights its famous heliport, where tennis matches have been played to promote the Dubai Tournament.

The largest gold ring in the world
We put modernity aside to delve into the most traditional culture of Dubai. The neighborhood of Deira still keeps the charm of the Arab souks. Different streets host shops specializing in perfumes and fragrances or spices but the market that stands out the most among all is the Gold Souk. Hundreds of shops dedicated to gold where exuberance is manifested again. In the showcase of one of the busiest places we see the largest gold ring in the world: 64 kilos of diamonds and 21 carat gold. A huge ring for the city of excesses.

"Dubai has a process and ways of doing marketing to attract tourists that we can implement in Mexico. Even in Oaxaca" concluded tourism expert Pepe de la Cajiga.
