Metaverso: ADAPTA studio enhances the creation of immersive virtual worlds by optimizing 3D objects

MILAN, ITALY, May 27, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Brands' initiatives in the Metaverse are multiplying and the creation of Spotify Island on Roblox is making headlines, using the "Imagination Platform" that allows its users to develop or play millions of 3D games online.

It is the first streaming platform to land in

the Metaverse: the island is a sort of "sound paradise" where fans and artists from all over the world can meet and explore a wonderland made of sounds, missions and exclusive merchandising.

Roblox users will be able to socialize with artists, complete interactive challenges and unlock exclusive content. Players will also be able to enjoy an immersive audio experience by creating music and exploring sounds in virtual beat-maker stations powered by Soundtrap.

Spotify listeners will also notice some familiar shapes, colors, and icons on Spotify Island. For example, Roblox users will have the option to collect the heart-shaped "Like" icon, which can be exchanged for merchandising. All this will allow fans to interact with the brand in a whole new way.

But are we sure that everything is really that simple? And above all, how complicated can it be to develop experiences of this kind?

Creating immersive experiences in the Metaverse can be challenging, in particular, due to limitations in terms of the number of polygons (10k polygons for any virtual earth is a very low number). Recall that the polygon is the basic element of every three-dimensional scene and is used to create virtual objects that reproduce real scenarios. Thus a greater number of polygons improves the final rendering of the object, but weighs more on the graphics processor of the machine and on the budget of 10k of each virtual earth in the Metaverse.

There is a solution to this kind of problem and it is represented by the AMAZ3D cloud platform, launched by ADAPTA studio (https://adapta.studio/), startups and spin-offs of the Politecnico di Milano.

The AMAZ3D cloud service allows you to optimize 3D graphic objects without using local computer resources but rather using remote computational resources. The AMAZ3D software is able to reduce the number of polygons that make up the 3D graphic objects, maintaining a high quality rendering and thus allowing the creation of immersive virtual worlds characterized by realistic graphics.

"ADAPTA studio - says Leonardo Locatelli, CEO and co-founder of the company - allows people to create incredible applications for the Metaverse with realistic graphics without exceeding the limit of 10k per ground imposed by suppliers in the metaverse world (eg Decentraland)".

"ADAPTA studio - adds Simona Perotto, President and co-founder - thanks to the use of advanced mathematical algorithms can support graphic designers and companies of different backgrounds in the creation of 3D graphic models characterized by high reliability on the one hand, and by a very reduced use of computational resources on the other".

ADAPTA studio, founded in 2021, after a first phase of development of advanced algorithms started in 2019, has already received two loans from PoliHub and 360 Capital Partners; currently offers different solutions and products for the optimization of three-dimensional graphic objects in order to meet the different needs of customers.
