AUSTIN, Texas, May 17, 2022 – HID Global, the world leader in trusted identity solutions, today announced that it has acquired Vizinex RFID. The acquisition increases HID Global's presence and relevance in key vertical markets, including healthcare, manufacturing,

oil and gas, data centers, etc. and adds important technology to HID Global's industry-leading RFID tag portfolio.

The acquisition enhances HID Global's position in the rapidly growing RFID tag market as Vizinex RFID provides custom tags and a high-quality standard for customers who help create new efficiencies, save money and improve tracking, security, and authentication. Vizinex's expertise is especially in providing bespoke RFID tags, fully integrated and compatible with different product designs. Applications can be adapted to meet critical attributes such as shape, size, frequency, and environmental tolerance (tolerance to, for example, repeated exposure to adverse temperatures). Labels are manufactured in the United States, using proven state-of-the-art processes and short response times.
