SESTO CALENDE, ITALY, May 20, 2022 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The company that builds the Aqua superpower (www.aqua-superpower.com) marine fast charging network participated in the Lake Maggiore Boat Show, from 13 to 15 May, hosted by Marina di Verbella (www.verbella.it) to show its chargers for electric boats and promote sustainable boating. Aqua's presence at the fair is aimed at promoting the charging infrastructure that the company is building along the shores of Lake Maggiore with the first installation in Marina di Verbella in the Ticino Natural Park.

Lake Maggiore is the first European Aqua superPower charging destination on a

lake, where environmental, cultural and heritage considerations are increasingly increasing the demand for electric boats. Access to a comprehensive charging network that offers a reliable plug & go experience is essential if boat owners are to develop the confidence needed to switch to electric boats. As the world's first dedicated marine fast charging network, Aqua superPower develops a charging infrastructure for marine and lake applications by implementing holistic solutions for DC and AC charging depending on location and intended use.

"We recognize the growing market for electric boats and want to welcome sustainable boating to Marina di Verbella. It is important for us to add as many services as possible for our customers and now they can also charge their electric boat," says Marco Diana, Director of Marina di Verbella. "As the largest marina among Italian lakes, we are committed to driving sustainability and environmental protection. The installation of Aqua superPower's marine charger and the construction of 1 MW from solar panels are part of this effort."

"We are proud to make Lake Maggiore the new Italian destination for electric boat owners, helping to protect the beautiful shores of the lake, environmental tourism and cultural heritage," said Alex Bamberg, CEO of Aqua superPower. "There are technical solutions to adopt clean marine electric mobility and with the installation of Aqua's chargers and support network, we want to bring commercial and recreational electric boating to Lake Maggiore. This is another milestone for our company, as the first major launch of the European inland lakes charging network. "

Marina di Verbella has received the 'Marina Excellence' certification for its performance in the field of sustainability, rewarding one of the most attractive marinas in inland waters for its location, the services it offers and for the landscape of Lake Maggiore. Aqua superPower already supports marinas, boat builders and boat owners in an effort to bring electricity into the water and reduce the impact of boating on marine ecosystems. Aqua network chargers provide reliable and ultra-fast charging 2kW AC - 150kW DC for both recreational and commercial boats.

Aqua superPower has launched its global network of marine fast chargers, creating local charging hubs and corridors with installations along the Côte d'Azur, the Italian Riviera, Venice, Plymouth and Spain.
