demonstrated how artificial intelligence is moving beyond experimentation and into real-world deployment across industries, public services and everyday life.Across LEAP and DeepFest, visitors experienced live demonstrations from global technology leaders, including AGIBOT’s humanoid robotics and advanced computing solutions from global AI infrastructure leader Supermicro, showcasing the technologies powering the next generation of industry.

Among the standout demonstrations was PSYONIC's Bionic Hand, an advanced prosthetic device designed to learn and adapt to its user's movements. Dr Aadel Akhtar, CEO at PSYONIC said: “We want the prosthetic hand to feel less like a tool and more like an extension of the user’s body. By collecting movement and sensor data from human users, we can teach robots to perform the same tasks”.
While demonstrations such as PSYONIC highlighted the impact of emerging technologies at an individual level, Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation demonstrated how technology is being deployed at national scale. This was reflected in a major milestone for Tawakkalna, the national comprehensive application enabled by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
During LEAP 2026, 62 government entities were recognised for completing the integration of their services into the platform, achieving its 2026 integration target in full. The milestone further expands a platform that now serves more than 36 million users, facilitates over 85 million daily transactions and provides access to more than 1,700 government services. As part of the 2026 integration milestone, 926 services from the 62 government entities have been brought together through a single interface, reflecting the growing scale and maturity of Saudi Arabia’s digital government ecosystem and simplifying access to services for citizens, residents and visitors.

The shift was echoed through DeepFest’s programme, where Abel Deng, President of the Middle East and Asia-Pacific region at AGIBOT, described embodied AI robots as the next revolution of how people interact with technology, following the era of keyboards and smartphones. Focusing on embodied AI rather than traditional robotics, AGIBOT integrates perception, cognition and action into a single system, enabling robots to operate more naturally in real-world environments.
The momentum seen across LEAP's second day also reflected a broader shift in the technology sector, with industry leaders increasingly focused on translating breakthrough innovation into practical applications, commercial partnerships and long-term economic impact.
