This unique event has been designed for families to enjoy a fun-filled day with their pets in a safe and fun environment, in addition to raising food for dogs and cats from local shelters.For one weekend a month, VenturaPark becomes a pet-friendly park. One of the dog pools in Cancun , which maintains a separate filtration from the others, is intended for the fun of pets. Likewise, there is a play area specially designed for them. A trained team is available to care for the animals, thus maintaining safety at all times and giving owners the opportunity to also enjoy the park's attractions.
VenturaPark's Dog Splash was a resounding success in 2024, raising more than a ton and a half of dog food, which was donated to local shelters through Amar es Cuidar, a responsible ownership campaign by Dolphin Discovery that supports shelters and stray animals. Some of the shelters that benefited were Adopta un Amigo, Los Perritos de Doña Mago, Cachorrilandia, Floreciendo el Mundo, and Dejando Huellas por Cancún. More than 240 dogs enjoyed an exclusive pool, healthy snacks, and special activities. Owners were also able to participate in interactive activities, enjoy rest areas, and socialize with other dog lovers.

During the days of the event, attendees who donate 2 kg of pet food will be able to purchase the Ventura Fun pass at a special price, which will give them access to the special pool for dogs, and to water attractions such as our wave pool at wet'n wild , roller coasters, the carousel and much more.
