HELSINKI, FINLAND, FINLAND, December 3, 2025 / EINPresswire.com / -- Türkiye is hosting the 7th Türkiye Educational Technologies Summit & Expo ( TETZ 2026 ), an international event that will bring together education ministers from 20 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

The three-day summit and expo, to be held in

Istanbul from 26 to 28 June 2026, will focus on shaping the global narrative around artificial intelligence (AI) and strengthening Turkey’s leadership in securing the future of education.

Main focus: Integrating AI and human-centered learning:
The event will bring together 20 education ministers, industry leaders, policymakers and educators to discuss critical strategies for integrating AI into education. Discussions will focus on:

-Integrating AI into national education policies.

-Determining the appropriate level of AI integration in curricula.

-Embedding AI in existing educational modules.

-Strategies related to distance and hybrid learning models.

With this summit, Türkiye aims to place human critical thinking skills at the heart of tomorrow’s learning systems, with AI not as a tool of competition but as an instrument of cognitive partnership.

Mustafa Canlı, Director General of Innovation and Educational Technology at the Ministry of Education, stated: “The era of AI requires a fundamental change in our approach to education. Türkiye does not wait for the future; it actively shapes it. We invite all stakeholders and our global partners to Istanbul on June 26-28.”

Global Cooperation and Regional Strength:
By hosting this global-scale event, Türkiye demonstrates its regional strength and aims to act as a significant gateway for international cooperation in a region with a population of 500 million learners.

The summit is also a platform for Turkey to present its strategic framework for placing AI at the heart of national education policies. The framework is designed to build resilient learning ecosystems based on personalized and data-driven education.

Türkiye is already a regional leader in digital education, having equipped 650,000 classrooms with digital infrastructure and hosting one of the world’s largest EdTech ecosystems, serving 18 million students and nearly 1.2 million teachers.

Open Call for Industry Stakeholders:
Industry leaders and government representatives who want to participate in shaping AI-enabled education and the workforce of the future are invited to attend. The summit and exhibition will further highlight the transformative power of digital innovation in education with its AI-centric approach.

Last year, the event hosted over 100 international participants and over 50 sessions, and was notable as the first event to bring together ministries of education from multiple countries.
