From 18 September to 30 October, in the spaces of the Erco Finestre flagship store in Varese
MILAN, ITALY, September 18, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- With Marco Introini. Everything is illuminated, open to the public from 18 September to 30 October, ERCO Finestre inaugurates the first stage of a new cultural journey. The exhibition, hosted in the flagship store in Varese, is the manifesto of a broader project: an itinerary of research and dialogue between architecture, art and photography, aimed at exploring the built space as a place of memory and vision.
The protagonists of the exhibition are the photographs by Marco Introini, which reveal a
refined work of investigation on the interiors of historic buildings, including the Milanese Palazzo Litta and Turati, and the Renaissance ones of Mantua and Sabbioneta. The images, all in black and white, are part of a broader project of documentation of the historical-architectural heritage begun by the author a few years ago and do not limit themselves to recording the space, but interpret it: the point of view, in fact, restores the complexity of the volumes, solids and voids, stopping the instant in which natural light transforms the environment and makes it unique. In the interiors of Palazzo Litta, the gilded stuccoes, mirrors and inlays of the floors become the protagonists of a play of reflections and shadows that multiplies the space, suggesting its visible and imaginary boundaries. In some shots, the choice of frontal perspective is a tribute to the Renaissance and its idea of geometric order, but also a way to restore the vibrant symmetry of environments that, although immobile, seem to move under the effect of light.
Curated by Silvia Monaco, the exhibition represents the beginning of a long-term project for ERCO Windows that includes a calendar of cultural initiatives to offer the public new opportunities to observe and reflect on the built space.
