Among the new trends in the international art scene are projects and creations with high cultural value and strong social impact
MILAN, MILAN, ITALY, December 18, 2024 / EINPresswire.com / -- The world of art, as we know, is a parallel universe of artistic figures ready to amaze every year with their thoughts and their incredible creations, inverting currents of thought, launching messages with high social value, creating trends and attracting the attention not only of professionals but also of the general public. This is
the case of three contemporary artists, very different from each other but united by a growing celebrity and a very strong social as well as cultural commitment.ISABELLA MANDELLI. ART AND INCLUSIVITY BUT NOT ONLY WITH BARABUBBLES
In a historical and social period characterized now by sudden life changes now by great personal uncertainties, there are those like Isabella Mandelli - eco-social artist, Coach and Life Skills Trainer - who listened to themselves intimately and dared ... reaching very important goals.
Former CEO of an American multinational medical giant, Isabella Mandelli is now an all-round artist, creator of the fantastic world of Barabubbles, delicate and very sweet dreamlike characters inspired by the 4 Jungian behavioral styles.
Through Barabubbles, Mandelli spreads values and concepts such as Respect for the Environment, Care for Others, Self-Acceptance, Kindness, Inclusivity and Caring Leadership, as well as having created the philosophy of “MISTAKE DOES NOT EXIST” which makes the error itself a wandering to then arrive at the change and the ultimate realization of dreams, ideas and thoughts that may be different from the initial ones but capable of making us satisfied and fulfilled.
Mandelli's art is full of deep meanings but also, on a technical level, of vibrant colors intertwined with lights, brilliant atmospheres, fantastic creatures, hearts and images created with the skillful art of watercolor.
This volcanic artist was particularly appreciated in 2024 for her solo exhibition in Turin at Palazzo Saluzzo di Paesana and for her even more recent exhibition at the ADI DESIGN Museum in Milan.
Now she is ready to take off again and in 2025 Japan awaits her! Here, in fact, under the guise of her art curator Ermanno Tedeschi, she will be the protagonist of an artistic tour dedicated to Barabubbles, starting in April from the city of Osaka.
In the meantime, Mandelli has also opened the doors of her CASA-ATELIER BARABUBBLES in Milan to introduce this incredible world of colors, care and inclusion to anyone who wants it. All in the name of an art that is truly…borderless and puts Man at the center.
NIKOS FLOROS. THE PROJECT “ MARIA CALLAS RETURNS TO VENICE” ARRIVES IN ITALY
As the year draws to a close in a feverish wait for Christmas, Venice is the Italian city that shines once again in the name of art, reconfirming its international and eclectic soul, this time thanks to the sculptor Nikos Floros, of Greek origins and New Yorker by adoption, who from 21 December 2024 to 6 January 2025 presents the Project “Maria Callas returns to Venice” - (Art Curator Roni Fuci) - exhibiting in Campo San Fantin, at the Ateneo Veneto, an imposing sculpture in pure steel dedicated to the Divine.
Venice represents the first stop of a traveling work, which in turn is part of an international cultural project conceived by Floros with the dual objective of not only paying homage to the immortal and iconic figure of Maria Callas but also of speaking to the world, through art and music, of beauty, respect between peoples, care for the environment in which we live and sustainability.
The last stop on this long journey will be an island in the heart of the Aegean Sea, where the singer's ashes were scattered. The sculpture will then be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Maria Callas Museum in Athens.
Nikos Floros is among the most appreciated sculptors in the world for the elegance of his works, as well as being a great enthusiast of everything that revolves around the Hellenic world and at the same time the figure of Maria Callas, to whom he has dedicated numerous tributes over the years.
A strong supporter of an art capable of becoming a tool for education and awareness, Floros is particularly attentive to everything concerning climate change and environmental sustainability.
JORGE POMBO. A TRIBUTE TO ROMEO AND JULIET REINTERPRETING HAYEZ
Self-taught Spanish painter, Jorge Pombo began exhibiting individually in 2000, at the age of 26, in Barcelona.
Since then, in a crescendo of indisputable successes at a global level, this eclectic artist has brought together critics and the public thanks to his monumental works full of pathos and poetry just like in his recent reinterpretation of “The Kiss” by Hayez created to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the novella of Romeo and Juliet by Luigi Da Porto, with a presentation that took place in December in Montorso Vicentino in the fairy-tale setting of Villa Da Porto Barbaran where this imposing and at the same time delicate oil on canvas measuring 610x410 cm will remain on display for five years.
Luigi Da Porto was the first to tell the story of the tormented love between Romeo and Juliet and Jorge Pombo, with his work, pays homage to him starting from one of the most famous works in the history of art.
Hayez's "The Kiss" becomes with Pombo a melting pot of art, passion and life dominated by a simple yet visually impactful chromatic palette: few colors, shaded tones, light glazes that give the work an almost ethereal character while everything seems to gradually detach itself from reality to let the weights of existence fall and make room for love just like when you kiss. Once again a masterpiece signed by Jorge Pombo that Italians and visitors from every country will be able to admire up close and for a long time.
